Understanding the Purity of Color Printing Packaging Dilutants

As the wet ink film of Dalian color printing packaging ink is adhering to foreign particles, these foreign particles spread on the wet ink film, repelling the surrounding ink and forming a pit, also known as "pit". Observed clearly there are foreign particles in the center of the pit, also known as "pitting points".

This phenomenon generally does not reveal the substrate. Preventive measures: control the environment, improve cleanliness, ensure the purity of solvents or diluents, no foreign bodies. After printing, the ink film on the surface of the product retracts to expose the surface of the substrate where the printing surface is large. This phenomenon is called retraction.

This is due to poor wetting of printing ink on the substrate. For example, the surface of the substrate contains oil stain, plastic surface and the surface of Electrodeposited printing ink containing too much anti-scratch additives, which makes the plate not concentric or eccentric, and shrinks in the forward direction, often resulting in partial shrinkage (fracture).
